Basketball is back!

27 Jul 2021 by Katy Clark

Hi everyone,
Basketball is back!

Please see below information from CBA regarding the return to Domestic Competition this Saturday 31st of July.

Density Quotient for Game Days
In line with Victorian Government health directives, basketball in Victoria will stay at the ORANGE-50 REACTIVATION LEVEL, with 300 people per space permitted and groups to be fewer than 50 people per court.
This means we are allowing only 1 parent or guardian per player in the stadium. In the past we have had a number of people totally ignoring this rule, please send the message out to all of your parents that anyone ignoring this rule will be asked to leave the stadium. This also applies to Roxburgh Park Secondary College, just because this is away from the stadium the rules are no different here.

Masks
Masks are still mandatory for all patrons over 12 years of age at all times indoors (state-wide) unless medically exempt. Players, coaches and referees are exempt while on court participating in an exertive role, however, must be worn while not playing and on entry and exit of stadium. I can not say this any more clearly NO MASK, NO ENTRY!

Check in
As always anyone aged 12 or over must check in using our QR code system before entering the stadium.

The games that were missed will be marked as draws and this week will be Round 4. Fixtures to be released Thursday.

Training will resume as per normal. Please note their will be no spectators allowed into training sessions, team manager and coach only.

Looking forward to seeing you all back on the courts.

Go Jets!
